This past weekend I finally popped the question to some of my close friends! I put together this DIY gift box for them and they absolutely loved it! It was very easy to make, and you can find these supplies at most craft stores near you.

Mod Podge Photo onto Canvas

Last week, I was going through so many photos of my friends and I growing up and my, oh my, have I changed. I loved reminiscing looking at old photos of my friends and what we’ve been through together. I decided on choosing one of our oldest photos we took together and used mod podge to glue them onto canvas.

Supplies needed:
• 2 1/2 x 3 in canvas–similar here
• Mod podge
• Foam paint brush
• Photo of friend–printed on regular computer paper

How to make it:
Step 1: Using foam brush, brush a layer of mod podge glue onto canvas.

Step 2: Place photo onto canvas and lay another layer of glue until glue is thoroughly brushed throughout.

Step 3: Let dry for about an hour.

Message in a Lightbulb

Supplies needed:

• Print out of question, “Will You Be My Bridesmaid”—I was able to use 8 pt. font and it fit perfectly.
• Washi tape
• Scissors
• Glitter
• Light bulb vases–find here

How to make your message in a light bulb:

Step 1: Cut out your “Will You Be My Bridesmaid” question.

Step 2: Once cut out, decorate with washi tape.

Step 3: Pour glitter into light bulb. Only fill until the bottom of the light bulb vase is covered.

Step 4: Once glitter has been poured, you can now put your message into the bottle.

Gift Box

Supplies needed:

• Rectangular box–similar here
• Washi tape
